HADO-BAR FARM was 'born' in August 1989, when Tom, Judi,
and Eric Bigham moved from their 6-acre suburban home in Elyria, Ohio to 18.6 acres of 'God's country' in Nova, Ohio.
Named in honor of Judi's first Australian Shepherd, (ASCA) CH. HADO-BAR JILL, CD, STD-d (ducks),
HADO-BAR FARM has become a premier all-breed stockdog training and event facility, hosting AHBA, AKC, and ASCA events, as well as Introduction To Herding clinics and Specialty events.
HADO-BAR FARM maintains a 'working' flock of 65-70 sheep (Cheviot, Barbados Blackbelly, Katahdin crossbreds) which have been specifically bred and carefully selected to withstand the physical and psychological stress of almost non-stop training and trialing.

HADO-BAR FARM has several fields available for training and events: a 106' x 152' TEST ARENA; the 115' x 250' MIDDLE FIELD; TRINITY DUCK ARENA (72' x 124'); CAPONE FIELD (135' x 250'); a 160' x 250' PRE-TRIAL FIELD; and, a 5-acre PASTURE. In addition, a small (48' x 52'), INDOOR ARENA is available for training in inclement weather. An on-site meeting/lunchroom offers judges, exhibitors, and event spectators a place to sit down, enjoy a good meal, and socialize. In addition to being the "senior" stockdog trainer at HADO-BAR FARM,
Judi is an AHBA-approved Herding Judge and has recently retired from judging AKC herding events. She is a Master Herbalist, holds a certificate in Holistic Care For Companion Animals, and is a Bach (Flower Essences) therapist, specializing in stockdogs. Contact Judi to schedule a consultation.
